~ Home ~

These pictures are not in the correct order but you get the idea. Right now Kerry and Rachel are both sleeping, we are hiding out in the cool basement playing and being quiet.
I thought that Rachel would be sort of used to me via skype but I was dead wrong. After being with two men for 15 days she wants nothing to do with woman. She will go to our sons but I hesitate to allow her to do that because I am the one she needs to bond with.
It's going to be a long road folks. I think I forgot just how hard it is to form that bond when only one parent travels. It is not easy and stressful. We will make it work, it will just take time.
Still hard to believe the little girl we both dreamed about for over a year is now home with her family.

I will be praying for her transition. I know how hard the first few months are. She will love you in no time.

Thank you Lord Jesus that Rachel and Daddy are home safe!

I can imagine you are dying to hold Rachel and that the rejection is not easy after the many months you have waited. It's another change for her and she may need daddy for a couple of days. She doesn't know this is her final destination and that daddy isn't going anywhere. She will learn that you are her mommy FOREVER and I'm sure in the near future that she will be glued to your hip! :)

Hang in there! Congratulations!!!

Love,
Robin
