My friend Julie has been waiting forever to bring her son Brian home from China. And now, now she just got her travel approval!!

Brian, he is super handsome and he is also from Xuzhou, which makes him extra special.

Meet Willow ~

Now, doesn't that name just make you smile?? Such a sweet little girl.

She has been diagnosed with scoliosis. It doesn't look to severe to me and I believe it is pretty easy to correct. I have a friend whose daughter has this and she wore back braces.

She was born 3.9.2009 and is in Hubei province. Any questions or to review her file email kathy@wiaa.org.

She is specific to Wasatch. We have used them several times and love them.

for a family, still. Could it be yours?





Meet Ryleigh. She is almost 10 and has waited so long for a family. She is in Guangdong Province. Her special need is thalassemia. She does not require blood transfusions.





This is what the orphanage says about sweet Ryleigh





"She is very happy to go to school, because she could learn more there and have new friends. She is extroversive, has a ready smile, fond of eating snake, able to take shower herself, clean the house; treat everybody kind and politely."

Next is a tiny little guy. His name is Benjamin. I call him Benji. He was born December 22, 2009. His special need is Atresia and Microtia. He is so cute and the poor little guy just got over chicken pox.

" 2-17-11 - JUST RECEIVED UPDATED PHOTOS - SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!
UPDATE from orphanage - 1-12-11 - We had done an ABR testing on August 10, 2010, the result was 80 decibel on the left ear and 60 decibel on the right ear. Because of the microsia (closure of the ear lobe), after the surgery, he might be able to hear better. At this time, there is no plan for surgery. He is not completely deaf in life. Sometimes, if we call his names loudly, he will turn his head. At this time he has chickenpox so unable to take photos and do weight and height update."









Last but certainly not least is handsome little Daniel.




He is super cute and just waiting for his mommy and daddy to find him. He was born July 26, 2009 and his special need is CHD (mild) and cleft lip/palate. His lip was repaired in January 2010.

Here is what the orphanage says about sweet Danny boy.





"He is a gentle and cute boy, is introvert, but is obstinate sometimes. Although he does not have loud crying, when you do not cuddle him when seeing him, he will never stop crying. He will cry when it is time for milk, and will not bear to be late for one minute, so the aunts call him little alarm clock. But he is easy to be satisfied, and will play happily after being full, and can make sound like a, a, he likes to have bath, and is not afraid of water, he is docile when having bath."

Update: I have found my family~

Meet Ping, she was born December 7, 2005. Isn't she just beautiful?!?!

Her diagnosis sounds scary ~ obstructive hydracephalus, absence of septum pellucidum -

Scary like I said, right?? But, God is good and he placed her in LWB. She is doing very well there and guess what else??

An updated CT scan confirms she doesn't have obstructive hydracephalus, absence of septum pellucidum. Or rather that her brain scan can find no abnormality.

Are you my Family? {Sunday Snapshot}

Take a look at this beautiful girl, she is 9. Nine years spent in an orphanage without a mommy or daddy to call her own.

Nine long years of not having a family to call her own and only 5 years away from aging out and losing that dream forever.

China is willing to make age and income exceptions in the case of older children. Take a chance and become forever blessed by parenting an older child that wants, no needs a forever family.

Her name is Ryleigh and she is with Wasatch on their individual list. She has thalassemia that requires no blood transfusions.

And that brings me to sweet Tate.

He has club feet and the most beautiful face ever. He was born in 6/2008. He is the sweetest little guy ever. And club foot, not that big a deal. His case doesn't look to severe and would require casting. I have several friends who have adopted children with club foot. It isn't that bad a special need to deal with.

The problem, Tate isn't in the best of SWI's. He needs his mommy and daddy to come get him asap. Please, please consider adding Tate to your family.

We have used this agency many times and all the people are wonderful to deal with and care about the chidlren a great deal.

Wasatch also offers a grant you can apply for in the amount of $2500.

And so it begins....

yet again~ You would think, this being our umpteenth move we would be used to it. The added stress of a listing, keeping the house clean 24/7, new schools, new house hunting, ect. ect....

But, we are going home and that makes all the difference, the kids are excited, we are excited and the area is not new to us. So it should be easier, once our current house sells.

Please pray that our house sells quickly. We need to move on..

Happy Birthday Hopey!!

Today marks Hope's sixth birthday. My big girl is no longer a baby.

She got her choice of breakfast, crabby patties, spongebob style.


and then some snuggle time with mama and mei mei before getting ready for school.

Followed by presents from mama and baba. She had her all time favorite for lunch, ramen noodles.

After school we headed to Red Robin, another favorite with Grandpa who is here helping us get things in order for the big move.

Followed by ice cream cake and more presents. Who could ask for a better day?!?!

Where we've been...

well, no where...just here at home getting everything in order.

You would think since we've done this a million times before it would be old hat, right...

Well, you add six kids, two pets and throw some sickness into the mix and we get nothing done. So, here I sit staring at the computer when I should be cleaning, decluttering and getting things in order...

But it will all happen in time and I am not worried...at least until the last minute when I just throw everything in a suitcase franticly.
