Gotta love Skype!! ~

~ Just some pictures ~

I did take the kids to see fireworks. It was nice, we found a hill that overlooked the city.

Jake being Jake, He is silly. Rachel will get along with him just fine and may even give him a run for his money.

Hope's new thing to do. She has been looknig at Kerry's China pictures and seeing people do this and thought it was the "thing" to do.

Rachel in the WS playroom having fun.

Sharing her noodles with Daddy. I guess I need to learn how to cook really good rice noodles before she comes home. Hope would love it to!!
Five more days!!!

~ A New Day ~

Rachel has turned a corner, well at least when she is on Skype... (says Kerry) All I see is smiles and laughter, he says it's only when she is talking to me and the kids on the computer.

Guangzhou Day 2 ~

Rachel had her medical exam today and rather than rant and rave about how upset we both are, I will just post the link here.

This really needs to change. It is so unfair that the kids have to get all these shots. Then most of the kids will have to repeat them once home.

They did enjoy a home cooked meal at what I assume was the guides house. He said it was very delicous and the best meal they've had so far.

Six more days and I will be able to hold my girl!!

They are in Guangzhou ~

No updates on the travel site today. They had a pretty rough transition to Guangzhou. The flight was delayed, the guide had already left and no one spoke English. But, they made it to the White Swan and everyone is a happy camper once again!!

I did get to skype with them as they were headed to bed. Tomorrow is the medical exam.

Rachel is doing much better by the way. The antibiotics are kicking in and she is showing major personality. Our girl is a stinker!! She is already getting into everything and she can say "Baba". We are working on "Mama" but I don't think she gets that the person on the computer is really her mama yet.
