This and That~

Nothing much going on here...just settling in. When you adopt an older child, it's a good idea to stay close to home...and get settled, establish a routine.

Which is what we've been doing. And things are going ok. It's an adjustment for all of us.

Joshua is still doing ESL twice a week and is registered fro kindergarten this fall. We had planned on home schooling him but he is doing really well and wants to go to school.

Plus and I am being honest here. I am not sure I could home school Joshua. We also have Gracie's surgery this fall and a whole slew of medical appointments for Rachel.

So lately we have been staying home and just venturing out for short trips...

or playing in our backyard...

tending the garden....

and posing for random pictures....
