What a mighty God we serve!!

Do y'all remember when I posted a few days ago that we had a secret, some amazing news I wanted to share??

Well, we had some mountains that needed moved and things that had to happen. Basically getting our ducks in a row so to speak.

And you know God is good!! I trusted and we put our faith in Him and you know, every single prayer has been answered....
faith·ful
adj.

1. Adhering firmly and devotedly,
2. Having or full of faith
3. The steadfast adherents of faith

And before you all jump to conclusions, no we are not adopted again...right now. Instead we have been given and amazing opportunity, something that will enable us to have family around all the time. Something we haven't been able to do in over almost 20 years....

We are going home!! Home where we grew up, home where we have family. Home where our children will be able to see their grandparents, and cousins and aunts and uncles.

Honestly, we have struggled from day one of our move here to VA. It hasn't been easy. And we have both prayed for a solution. Kerry has been traveling nonstop for the past 7 mths. He has missed seeing Rachel grow and thrive since bringing her home 7 mths ago. And now we get to move home.

Can you imagine?!? And the company, my husband will work for....they are taking very good care of us.

It's amazing if you think about it. And we owe all the credit to God. Only HE could do this, only HE could have worked out every detail.

Most of our family have only seen Gracie a handful of times...and this precious child...

her joyfully happy face, some of our family have never met her. And now, because of God, we are going home!!

Very simply, we praise God because He is worthy of our praise ( 1 Chron. 16:25; Rev. 5:11-14).

He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is our Creator, Provider, Healer, Redeemer, Judge, Defender and much more

so, if you are ever in the Ohio are, look us up....

Boys and more boys.... ~Sunday Snapshot ~

There always seems to be an abundance of boys waiting to be adopted. Especially from China..
I wonder why this is...

I have two boys and I wouldn't hesitate to adopt a boy.

Seriously, look how adorable and handsome these guys are....

I'm Landon and I have microtia of both ears. My nannies say I am restless, but lovely and I really enjoy playing with my toys. I am now walking and was born on 7/16/08.

This is Jake he was born 7/21/07 and may be deaf, still waiting on updates. Isn't he a doll?!?!

My name is Ethan, I am post op for mega colon and VSD. I was born on 2/25/09. I am active, love playing games and my nannies say I am so smart.

Therer are so many boys waiting in China for families. Won't you consider one of them? I can tell you boys are a blessing for sure.

Contact Kathy at kathy@wiaa.org for more information on one of these guys or just adopting a boy in general.

sigh....

I thought this being in a brace thing would be easy...or earn me a little sympathy at least.

Nope, neither one. It's hard. I have to climb three flights of steps daily chasing after three toddlers and three big kids.

And I was motivated to start some projects...the same sewing projects I had posted about months ago....

Just couldn't fit behind the sewing desk with a knee that won't bend...

So this came today...and I thought I would get some reading in....nah, I got as far as taking a picture :)

Then decided to bake. Cuz, you know a girl can't live without sugar and chocolate when injured...

mmm, peanut butter chocolate chip muffins ~ gluten free of course!

Which brings me to what is happening while I am injured....my backside is growing ever larger from sitting...and eating sweets...and not being motivated...

I really need to get better quickly, so I can start moving again....even if I will never be able to run again...at least I can do something....

Ok, enough whining, I am going back to expanding my backside, uhmm, I mean my horizens.. LOL

and for those of you not in the know...and you know who you are...we have some changes coming....

Injury update ~

Well, the pain was so bad that I went to one of those fast ER type places last night. And if you know me at all, you know I HATE going to any doctor for myself. I Just don't go...period.

I will give them credit, they got me in an out in an hour. Complete with x rays and everything.

So, the diagnosis, a torn ligament. And you know, they are PAINFUL!! Who would have guessed?!?!
And to top things off, the kids have a snow day because of ice....

And you would think having three bigs home I would have tons of help....nope. They are playing video games...

And the little's, well they are parked in front of the TV, watching "The Upside down show".

And if you haven't seen it, you should because it is hilarious!! (or maybe it's the pain meds...LOL)
